I N I T I A L S K E T C H I N G- HALF ZIP

THE HALF ZIP SWEATSHIRT

CLO3D DEVELOPMENT

  • Creating fit and form of garment from basic tee block

  • Input actual fabric to see how the two would sit together

  • Final fit on Clo, oversized feel front pocket joining into curve on back panel

  • Designed to feel as though it wraps around the body

2D - 3D

  • Initial fit: Needs more room to move and stretch, drop shoulders, widen sleeves.

  • Second toile: Zip placate needs work. Change proportion of front panel. Remove shoulder seam and arm hole to create kimono sleeve. Under arm gusset needed to remove side seams.

 

SCOOP NECK SPORTS BRA

  • Drawn on CLO3D based off of initial sketches

  • Fabric input: ECONYL

2D - 3D

  • Initial fit: Strap lengths need to be 10cm longer. Back curve opening with straps cannot not happen without fabric pulling. Therefore change design, keeping back curve but no opening.

  • Notes: Overlock elastic in to ensure that it does not slip or ruche.

MAKE NOTES:

  • Tack all linings and pieces together before overlocking

  • 4 thread overlocker, x2 120 threads // x 2 80 threads for stretch

  • Flat bed straps from inside main body

  • Tack and overlock waistband before cover-seam

  • Bar tack = final step

THE LIVE IN LEGGING INITIAL SKETCHES

CLO 3D DEVELOPMENT

  • Fabric: ECONYL

Extended gusset allows for more movement.

CHANGES:

  • Placement moved inside leg by 3cm from pre-collection sample

  • Leggings widen 2.5cm at front and 3cm across the back
